This notice explains collection, use and disclosure when you browse, order or communicate with us. It prevails over Terms for explanations of processing. Browsing or reading this policy is not consent to optional processing. Where required, we ask for consent separately.

Personal information and sources

We collect information you provide, including your name, email address, telephone number, billing and delivery address, order details and correspondence. Usage information can include IP address, device and browser details, pages visited, visit times, duration, unique identifiers and diagnostic information. We receive information directly from you, from the operation of the Services and from providers assisting with the relevant service.

With your permission, we may process location information to provide and personalise features. You may manage location permission through your device settings. Cookies, tags, pixels and similar technologies are addressed in the cookies section below.

Payment-card details are provided directly to the payment processors; we do not store or collect those details. Payment status and transaction information may be processed for orders. We process account information needed for sign-in and preferences.

Purposes and legal bases

We use necessary information to perform a purchase contract or take requested precontract steps: process orders and payments, arrange shipping, maintain accounts, handle returns and provide customer support. We also use data to maintain the Services, notify you of service changes and provide interactive features you choose.

We process required records to comply with legal obligations. Security, fraud prevention, technical issue resolution and defence of legal claims may rely on legitimate interests, subject to applicable balancing and your rights.

We use information to analyse and improve the Services and, where permitted, for newsletters, offers and remarketing. Optional tracking relies on valid consent where required. Direct marketing is sent on consent or another specifically permitted basis; previous purchases do not constitute blanket permission. You may unsubscribe through any marketing email or contact us. Necessary order or account messages may still be sent.

Service providers and recipients

Providers may assist with hosting, IT, payments, customer support, delivery, analysis or marketing and receive information needed for that purpose. Appropriate arrangements govern their access. Some providers also act as independent controllers for specified purposes, explained in their privacy notices.

Our store uses Shopify for hosting and commerce, Consentmo for cookie choices, Judge.me for product reviews, Google Analytics for usage measurement and Meta (Facebook) technologies for advertising and measurement. Optional analytics and advertising tracking are subject to your cookie choices. Payment and delivery providers process the information needed for the method or service you select.

These provider tools supplement, rather than replace, our consent controls and your rights. Shopify hosts the store. Consentmo manages cookie choices and Judge.me supports product reviews; these services process information relevant to their functions.

We may disclose information where legally required by authorities or courts, to protect legal rights and address unlawful activity. If involved in a merger, acquisition or asset sale, information may be transferred lawfully; we will provide required notice before materially different processing applies.

Relationship with Shopify

Shopify processes information to operate the platform. Where Shopify processes data as a controller, its Consumer Privacy Policy explains that processing. You can exercise relevant rights with Shopify at Shopify's privacy portal.

Retention and international processing

We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the relevant purposes, including applicable legal recordkeeping, dispute resolution and enforcement of lawful agreements. Order records follow tax and accounting requirements; account records are retained as needed for the account; correspondence as needed for the enquiry or lawful claims; marketing records and consent evidence as needed for subscriptions and compliance. Usage data is generally held for a shorter period unless needed for security, service functionality or legal obligations.

Information may be processed in Spain and in other countries through our providers. International processing is not authorised simply by accepting this policy. Transfers outside the EEA or UK must rely on the applicable adequacy decision, Standard Contractual Clauses or another lawful mechanism with necessary supplementary measures.

Security and browser signals

We use appropriate security measures, but no system or transmission method is completely secure. Please avoid unnecessary sensitive information in customer-service messages.

We do not support the legacy Do Not Track browser signal. This does not override the choices you make in our consent controls or other legally required privacy signals.

Children and external links

The Services are not intended for children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If a parent or guardian believes a child has supplied information, contact privacy@roy-roger.com so we can assess and take appropriate action.

Independent linked websites have their own privacy notices. Public reviews or information posted on public platforms may be visible to others. Do not include information you do not want published.

Your rights and complaints

Subject to applicable conditions, you may request access, correction, erasure, portability or restriction and object to processing, including direct marketing. You may withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. Contact privacy@roy-roger.com. You may also use account controls where available. We may request proportionate verification and respond within the applicable statutory timeframe.

You may complain to Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD). Guidance and filing options are available on the AEPD website. Contacting us first is not a condition. A competent authority in your habitual residence, workplace or place of alleged infringement may also receive complaints.

Changes and contact

We update this policy when practices or requirements change, show its effective date and provide required notice. We will notify you by email and/or a prominent website notice before material changes take effect. Changes do not authorise optional processing that requires separate consent.
